In a one-bedroom apartment, and her daddy stops by

Starts talking about babies and buying a house

Five years later there's a plumber workin' on the water heater

I've got 2 babies of my own.

One's 36, one's 23.

The kids are 7 and 3 and when I heard this song on the radio the other day I teared up thinking about how much they have grown and how they will continue to grow......Its amazing that we are handed such precious gifts.......I remember saying "I cant wait" for certain milstones in their life and as they accomplish those things part of me is sad because they are growing so fast and I know it is sometimes crazy or hectic, but I know I will miss this...............
